Tech money

In fact, according to ticketing search engine TiqIQ, Monday night's game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors has the second-highest list prices for an NBA Game 7 in the past five years ($960 per ticket). The only Game 7 to top Monday night's matchup in Oakland was the 2013 NBA Finals Game 7 between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs ($1,346 per ticket). The Warriors put the few remaining tickets on sale Sunday night, with prices ranging from $230 to $2,150. They sold out in less than five minutes.

Those prices did not include any floor seats, which were sold out. But someone did go to the Warriors' resale site, run by Ticketmaster, and purchased two floor seats for $29,000 each.

I could find way better things to do with $30,000 than sitting for 3 hours court-side.

I'd buy a $2,000 ticket, still have good seats, have just as much fun, and use my imagination for the other $28,000.

. The SF Bay area has high tech money coming out its ears.
Some dudes pay hundreds of millions to own a team.
Less than 100K for two tix to a must see game seems about par for a guy with $100 million in the bank. At a certain point of income, you can never spend it all if you are not into en entourage, blow and houses that require a staff to run.
