the Spurs big 3 have fallen off
You do realize the big 3 are no more, correct?

there's no championship caliber help in sight.
The last Spur to win Finals MVP wasn't a big 3 member and is still playing for us.

the Spurs won't win a title as long as Pop is the coach.

course the Spurs have a better reg season record
And postseason record. And highest winning percentage of any pro team for over 20 years. And winning record vs. every other NBA team. And most 50 win seasons in a row....ever (including a 66 game season). And.....And....And....

top end talent isn't good enough to win when the playoffs start and every team puts their best foot forward.
Except for houston, of course.

My favorite is how the Spurs are a "regular season team". A fan of a D'antoni coached team said this.

Love how Boom continuously reels in the low hanging fruit of this board.

i know your team better than you. Remember last year when I called what rd they would meet their demise early in the season? The big three playing at a championship level was how they won titles. Now that those guys aren't playing at that level anymore their title chances are poof gone. Ain't no team winning a NBA title with kawhi Leonard and Aldridge as their best two players unless they have absolutely elite role players. Well safe to say Parker green ginobili etc are far from elite.

When you win 65+ games and then don't even make the Conference finals. Well that's a case of a "regular season team" unlike any I've ever seen. Ain't no coach D team ever win that many games in reg season. And then bow out in rd 2 of the playoffs. Ever.

Remember me saying at the beginning of that season that I didn't think SA would win the West three years in a row? Remember me being the only motherfricker on this board not calling the Thunder series a foregone conclusion after SA won game 1?
Settle down. You do not know AC better than me.

He's cheap, consistent entertainment who doesn't care how many L's he takes.
Quintessential Rocketfan, tbh.

Fine me one team in league history to win as many as Spurs did last year and then not even play in the conference finals. I'll be waiting. That my amigo is the definition of regular season team. A team whose performance in the post season doesn't equal what the regular season record would project.

And you get reeled in every time.
But it's probably only because you're trying to get other posters to like you.

Mattz is right though. My new year's resolution is to ignore boom completely. I wouldn't be upset if everybody took that approach.

Delusional Rocketfan is fun to argue with. Always has been here in Texas. I don't even hate the Rockets

Congrats. You are the second most regular season team of all time.
