Idk about the rest of you, but I really, really enjoyed this year's WS. Lots of new faces, several great performances, extra inning games, very electric crowds, really great coverage from Harold Reynolds and A-Rod. Thoughts? Anyone else feel like this was one of the best WS in years?

What would your reaction be if the Giants win the World Series next year?

Crazy arse coincidence? Or pure wizardry? I think I'd go with the latter.

I think if it would've gone longer than 5 games it would've been better. Last year's series was alot better.

Strongly disagree. I found watching the Mets to be much more enjoyable than watching the Giants yet again.

Didn't Sunday Night Football nearly have double the rating as Game 5? I was watching MLB, but just curious...

Enjoyed watching the Mets choking away some of those games.

Watching the Mets was fun, just wish it could've been a longer series. Plus last year had the Royals on the big stage for the first time, Bumgarner's ridiculous performance, and.....technology and stuff

I was completely uninterested. I probably watched 9 innings combined of every playoff game. And i am a huge fan of baseball. After the all star break, i just couldnt get into it this year

Keith Hernandez in the Mets booth stresses fundamentals. Thats what killed the Mets. Lack of fundamentals

Would've been better without Joe Buck.

Dunno, of course I think it was awesome because of who prevailed

Only watch baseball in the playoffs if KC is involved. Seemed like the games were fun to watch for even casual fans, though (and I don't say that about baseball often).

World Series (and playoff baseball for that matter) is one of my favorite sporting events of the year. Even if my team is not in it, I still enjoy the fall classic.

Honestly, I hated that it only went 5 games. Not because I wanted to watch more games (I did), but because, for the most part, the Mets played so damn well. The 4-1 series loss is not indicative of how well they performed.

I wish the Mets hadn't blown a couple of those games. It could have been another awesome series similar to last year if not. I do like both teams
