Drummond is only playing 25 minutes per game and he's not in double digit rebounds or points at UConn this year and it doesn't seem to be because of foul trouble because he's only averaging 2.2 per game.

I haven't figured out why Jones seems to disappear at times. It seems like he is scared to score.

That was a nice looking three by Davis even though it didn't go in.

you can only coach/practice so much, so it's best to work on D and create an offense around that

Nailed it...look at Cal teams when it comes to defense, it would surprise you.

MKG is a beast, 24 points, 19 rebounds...the kid is a top 5 pick.

We played like shite on offense, but still found a way to win the game...

And give the cheater on his wife credit, he sure brought the Big East style into Rupp, just to bad we could hit our FT's (where are the fools who claim Cal's teams can't hit FT's)?

Oh, we need to handle the press better.

He's really been hampered by that dislocated finger. I know at one point today he tweaked it but still managed to rebound well.

You watching?

Yes. Both teams shot for one of the lowest combined FG percentages in the rivalry's last 30 years (31.05%). Between that and some officiating both ways that really took the flow out of the game it's going to look rough.

I could just as easily point to the UNC game as an example of why we play well as a team.

I am concerned about our play in big games as of late. But you never could've convinced me that we would've won a game hitting our free throws. That and the fact we out rebounded them 57-31 makes me pretty content at the moment.

I love these two coaches! 60 years or so of combined coaching and 1 title! Greatness.

Yeah, all those Final Fours, Elite Eights, and Sweet 16s were just awful.

Dont forget about their great NBA records! At least they both run clean programs.

Please tell me you're not a Ohio State fan running his mouth about a "clean program".
