I really don't understand how someone in my generation cannot read. I really don't.

With that said, I think it's hilarious that he cannot read.

Floyd has a unique style and one that hasn't been tried before. He OWNS the promotion company that promotes his fights. He then partners with Golden Boy Promotions to do all of the work for him. He does have good managers around him (by most accounts). The changes at Golden Boy recently will change his business model somewhat though.

On topic, it's a shame that he can't read any better than that but it's not due from too many punches as Floyd rarely takes hard shots to the head because of his style.

I can't stand the arrogant arse punk but he's a fine boxer. I don't like him because he's been dodging his biggest competitor for 10 years. Pac would stomp a mud-hole in his arse at 147#.

BTW, Oscar whipped his arse he just took too many rounds off at the end of the fight because he thought he had it won on points.

Didn't PAC get his arse handed to him by some unknown? Tell Pac to agree to the drug testing throughout training.

Unfortunately for you idiots, boxing scores until the final bell. There would be 100's of champions out there if a few rounds means they "whipped" the other guy. What if FM's strategy was to wear him down and finish him late?

Geeez that was a dumb comment. How the frick do you win on points if you take the second half of the fight off AGAINST THE TOP CHAMPION EVER (arguably) So much fail

Manny has agreed to all of his testing. Then it was the former CEO at GBP couldn't get along with Arum. We'll see what excuse he comes up with next.

I'd like to add that with Cotto using Freddie as his trainer now, his fight with the dodger would come out a little differently too.

Thread full of people trying to make themselves feel better by putting Mayweather down. That way you might convince yourselves you're actually better off than he is in some way.

You're overthinking it.

Why else do we make fun of people?

Basically the gist of this thread is "I may not have his money but at least I can read better than that dumbass."

First of all the boxer that beat him is Juan Manuel Marquez. If he's a no-name to you then you know nothing about boxing. Marquez has the key to Pacmans lock like Vernon Forest did with Mosely. He's not necessarily a better fighter, just knows how to beat him. Secondly, Pacman has agreed to the standard boxing testing. If that's not good enough for Floyd he must really think Pacman is a bad dude being he's never had this kind of testing requested before. Oh, and watch the first fight between Mayweather vs. Jose Luis Castillo if you want to see Floyd loose but get a bs decision

Pac v FMM has lost a little bit of its luster since Pac got put to sleep. I still want to see it but it's not nearly as big of a fight as it would have been a couple of years ago.

Agreed, but Pacman dominates everyone in the world not named Juan Manuel Marquez.

No doubt. I would still love to see FMM school Pacman, which would undoubtedly happen. That's just a fact.

It'll happen when Mayweather is assured of getting the W. One thing that I don't like is that he's definitely protecting that "0" at this point. Can't blame him either. Not much to gain by beating Pacquiao at this point. They missed the window where Mayweather could sustain a L and it not affect his legacy too much.

Now, if he beats him people will say he waited until Pac was declining. If he loses then he has a loss.
