I was not impressed. He's winning, but he's very unpolished. I guess that's what being 18 will do.

Well, yeah, but you can usually tell. It was evident, to me, with Kyrgios when he was substantially unpolished. I think I can just kinda tell when a guy's got game.

I'll try to catch a match of his in full sooner rather than later. I looked briefly at some highlights on youtube, and he moves really well, and appears to be solid on both wings. He has a two-handed backhand, which means he's a sensible goddamn man and not using an inferior product "because Fed does it."

Serve appears to be sort of meh.

Take this analysis with a grain of slat as it was based on about four minutes of highlights.

Stan rolled Stevie Johnson. I'm kind of bummed, I keep thinking Stevie might break though for a run.

Tournament has kind of sucked so far. Looking forward to Murray/Kyrgios and Sock/Coric tomorrow, and possibly Fed/Monfils and Berd/Tsonga on Sunday.

He'll never break though. He's more of the steady, consistent type. He really doesn't have top 20 talent though I could see him cracking the top 20 at some point if he just keeps grinding out wins like he does.

He's like a slightly poorer man's Brad Gilbert. And, no, that isn't the most complimentary statement in the world, but it's the most accurate comparison I can come up with.

He is absolutely nothing like Brad Gilbert Johnson lives on a huge forehand and big serve. Gilbert was the ultimate grinder. You will like this, he is the poor mans Raonic

Battle between two former US Open junior champs, Sock and Coric, on tennis channel right now. Some posted above Coric is very unpolished, but as he said, he is only 18. Kid is 18 and in the 3rd round of FO with shot to advance and is the highest ranked teenager in the world Kid will be top 10 in a few years for sure.

Finally able to watch some Rafa tennis this tournament!

I'd been somewhat optimistic by his results so far (not upset optimistic but atleast feeling he could make it a helluva match), but he will get absolutely boatraced if he plays Djoker like this. His serve is looking weak, and he's basically only getting points of Kuznets's errors; I'm not sure if I've seen him hit a winner yet.

Super nervous his Djoker match is gonna be a sacrificial lamb-esque slaughter.

Sock putting an absolute beat down on Coric.

Sock seems to be playing with a lot of renewed confidence these last few months, which I am sure has to be trickling over from his recent success with Popsil in the Grand Slam doubles.

I was falling asleep in and out of this match, but from what I saw, Serena put out some GOAT level play. She lost the first and was down breaks in the second and third. She hasn't even served that well. I can't believe how she is moving. Azarenka played solid on her end.

Azarenka fell apart just like she did when she played Serena a couple of moths ago. But she just flipped a switch in the middle of the second set. Kind a shitty call by the chair umpire decided the 2nd set though it didn't mean she still wouldn't have won it anyway.

I guess so, but it wasn't exactly the New York Times.

I mean you are wrong as shite. Comparing Johnson to Gilbert is hilarious. You would be laughed at in a tennis circle. You have embarrassed yourself and your family
As a so called tennis person
