How do they set the schedules? Thursday tickets are way cheaper for the afternoon schedule than the night one. Any chance Djokovic and Murray are in the afternoon? Tickets are like 80 bucks more for the night session

No, it's already set that it's a night match.

Roger will probably be at night on Thursday. Basically, they rotate the top guys in the first week. CBS tries take the top players in the day sessions on the middle weekend. Then, ESPN wants to maximize night ratings in the second week.

Yeah makes sense. Figured there had to be a reason it jumped from 35 to 120 between sessions.
Fed would be cool but I'm assuming it'll be night for him as well.

Murray gets a chance to salvage his underwhelming season today. Nole was disappointing in the US Open series and everyone thought it would translate to the US Open but so far it looks like he just didn't care and wanted to enjoy his wife. We'll see how this match goes.
Kei gets a chance to take it to the next level, but Stan has had an amazing season. Should be a great match.

Murray v. Novak could easily be a final. I think either Murray gets rolled or it goes 5. Very similar players when both are on.

Murray's had a terrible year. Dude went from #2 to #9 quick.
But yeah I agree, either it's a quick three sets win or they both turn it on and out on a show.
