Because Tebow is the original Trump. He has a core group of blind followers to who he can do no wrong, and a bunch of haters. That drives eyeballs, coupled with ESPN general ability to suck you get Tebowmania every time he sports.

I know it was A ball and probably against a pitcher drafted in the 50th round but, swatting one out in his first AB was the most Tebow thing ever. Especially since he was hitting poorly coming in

May be some flare up like that softball incident or Aaron Rodgers (who I think is gay) may divorce his beard.
My point is I don't watch sports because it's not really about sports anymore. This board reflects that.
I'm not really into the "omg so and so was on tv and owned so and so" though.
I look for the amusing things. Im not into whatever cold pizza debate is going on. Maybe the cubs win the World Series or something like that

The media seems to want you to hate Tim tebow. The guy has done nothing but try his hardest in what he does, football, baseball, whatever. I hated him when he played for Florida, but here I am hoping he succeeds.

I wanted say he is like trump to a point in the the media/ESPN wants u to not like him. ESPN use to bash this guy every time they had a chance when he played football, he won a playoff game. They bash him for playing baseball and he hits a home run in his first game.

Regardless of how terrible Tebow is at baseball, he still has more HR's in a professional baseball game than the OP.

Why all the Tim Tebow hate? He has done absolutely nothing wrong, has not beat up a girl, done drugs, gotten a DUI, tested positive for PED's. All he's ever done is give 100% at whatever he tries. Yea, he sucks as a person.
