I'm pretty bummed about about...

SB Nation Radio (formerly yahoo sports radio) has decided to go in a different direction. it was the only nationally syndicated morning sports
show that was worth a shite... pretty much always entertaining.

Please... someone cheer me up.

I haven't listened to it in several years and I don't think they had a St Louis affiliate, but I enjoyed it when I did listen to it. It always seemed like he was talking about either going on a golf trip or coming back from a golf trip though.

I'm pissed..... He was by far the best national host. There is nothing to listen to nationally now

He basically said on his local show that the guy that ran him off at fox sports radio is still in charge... fox has had something like four shows for that times lot in the five years since he left.

I nearly stroked out when they dropped him for Steve A Smith back in the day

I liked Tony Bruno back in the day, too. He just kinda disappeared.

Yeah... That made me sick.

I guess the only hope is CBS and NBC... It's crazy how crap like Mike and Mike stays on the air. People listen to that shite just because it's on ESPN.

Think he has his own podcast. It's crazy to think he was on ESPN back in the day. No way anyone like him would be allowed on now.

Used to love Czabe, have not heard him in years. I think Andrew Sicilliano was on his show then. Never will understand why shows like his fail and Mike and Mike bullshite thrives.

I remember that. It was December 2009. Right after all the Tiger Woods mess. I love Steve

Helps to have ESPN behind you. People tune that crap in and eat it up

In the battle of Tony's I thought Kornheiser had the better show. Bruno was very good though. The best national show IMO was Kiley and Booms.

ESPN just has the entire game locked up.

It's so recognizable and easily findable, whether it's TV or radio. And it's easier to just throw it on ESPN radio on your morning drive, even if it is Mike & Mike.

Hell, it's very rare, but I'm even guilty of it. If I wrap up a podcast with a few minutes to spare on my work/home commute, sometimes i'll just throw it on ESPN radio, and that's Mike & Mike on my morning drive, and I hate Mike & Mike.

When I was in grade school 1on1 sports was really good. Czabe was there Kevin Wall, Papa Joe Chevalier, and Peter Brown

Rome in the mid 90's was a good listen, but 20 years later he is still that same guy and doesn't get that he needs to change, as the jokes are old and worn out. But when he would get serious and discuss sports, Rome was very good. His Sheldon Kennedy interview should be a must listen for all parents.

I had almost forgot he was still on. He was good back in the day.

Papa Joe's rants about Pete Rose deserving to be in the HOF were epic.

I always downloaded the podcasts every morning... He was on maybe one hour a day here in Nashville.

I woke up at five on Monday to hear his take on the weekend games. I heard the replacement instead. I was hoping he was just having technical difficulties. Then after the second day I read his blog. Sucks, I will miss Solly the most.
