Holy shite a James Neal sighting.

Also, Ryan Miller replaces Lack in net. Completely forgot Miller was even on the Nucks.

Jack Crapuano is like the hockey equivalent of Les Miles. The offense is an illusion with both of them.

Not surprised they scored but I was expecting that to happen during the power play not the 5 on 5

I told you guys the caps isles series would be a story of goaltending.

And les miles has at least won something and played for something twice.....

I hope they hurt Backstrom or Ovie pretty bad on Thursday. Retribution for taking out Visnovsky.

Yes, Visnovsky is the equivalent to Ovechkin. When the series started, the Caps were thinking of ways to knock the immortal Visnovsky out of it. And it's not like Okposo knocked Fehr out of the series with a dirty hit... oh, wait. That's exactly what he did.

Payback is a bitch. It looks like this. By the way: puck is at the player's feet, the hit is head on, and the chest is the point of contact. That's a clean hit. It got a penalty due to Wilson's rep and maybe because, wow, he got blown the hell up. But textbook, that's not illegal, though I don't really have a problem with the penalty just for the sheer ferocity of the hit. But by the text of the rule, it's legal.

They still need to answer back for that. Vis is their 2nd best D man, hopefully they at least rough up Wilson. Teach him a lesson, if we still had these things called enforcers in the NHL, he might have stayed in line.

Wilson came out of the box with the intent to frick someone up.

Hopefully Eric Boulton is dressed for game 5 and is ready to start. Time to goon this series up.

My point is as far as injuries on questionable hits go: we're even. Both teams have lost a good player though not a star due to a borderline hit. The balance sheet is even on that score.

But I'd be thrilled if the Isles were more concerned with extracting a pound of flesh than trying to, ya know, win Game 5. The Caps are the heaviest, biggest team in the playoffs. You really want to make this series about hitting? I'd be thrilled. The isles win this series if its about puck movement, speed, and open ice. The Isles are a faster team. If this becomes a physical series, that's a Caps win. Additionally, if guys start committing silly penalties and there's lots of power plays... which team do you think that benefits more? The Isles or the team with the #1 power play in the NHL?

It won't last 5 minutes into the 2nd OT. Just like Game 1.. Whoever gets a great push in the beginning of this period will win I guarantee

Man, I just want to see the series drag on as long as it can for these two teams in case the Blues move on.

Can we get another OT?

Visnovsky will probably never play in the NHL again thanks to that tPOS Wilson. Hope Craps fans are happy though. :roll eyes:

Gotta love how the only guys that Wilson ever goes after are the smaller guys, really shows you how much of a pussy he is. Hopefully he gets his shite rocked on Thursday, because he fricking deserves it. Yea it was a clean hit, but when he came out of the box, his intent was to take out someone, so he went for a guy with a history of concussions and went right for his head like a thug.
