Well there goes my 12-3 show. Adnan was the best choice fwiw. Forseburg was awful, and his fate was sealed during the insanely awkward Vick on the Jets thing.

I like the Kennel pick. It will keep the show college football heavy which is why I started listening. When he brought Rosenberg back this week I was worried he was gonna choose him. Dude sucks

I could not stand Rosenberg. Definitely agree he brought up his fandom too much... no one gives a shite about the Redskins. It was funny when SVP did it with Maryland because he never overdid it -- he only dropped "he a Terp" occasionally or brought up Maryland when it was warranted. And oh, you used to text with "Drizzy" (Drake) and Jay Z called you one time? Please continue to bring that up...
I like the Kannel choice. The people dissing Kannel are focusing on his twitter beefs but he leaves his twitter personality on twitter for the most part. Plus, it is more entertaining radio to have someone arguing against the SEC's dominance as opposed to two guys just saying 'yep, SEC is the shite again this year... let's see who is playing for second.' Kannel knows his football shite and was actually a professional athlete so he has a different perspective on things and has a bunch of great stories.
I hope they keep bringing a heavy dose of Adnan in the spring and summer next year. That's one funny Canadian.
One thing I think might really hurt the show going forward is losing Stanford Steve to the TV side. He was great and is leaves a big void to fill. From what I've seen this week it seems like they have some younger dude sitting in his chair now. We'll see how that works out I guess...

Kanell will be a great addition, especially during football season. He's not really that knowledgeable when it comes to NBA, so I can imagine that conversation will heavily focus on Russillo correcting whatever dumbass opinion Kanell has.
That being said, I was hoping that Kanell or Adnan would fill the spot. Both guys are great to listen to, and neither takes himself too seriously.

For some reason, he though Vick was still on the Jets, and you could tell they both shuffled around looking to see who was right and Ryen was second guessing himself. It was bad enough Ryen actually brought it up yesterday for "downside" on Forseberg.

frick this. I'm out as a listener. Kanell is horrible. I knew they were gonna ruin Russillo with this fricktard the day they announced SVP was leaving. He sucks, his voice is terrible, and he brings out the worst in Russillo.
I have been checking the podcasts and skipping the Kanell ones. Sucks that ESPN would destroy the last good show they have.

Kanell was my first choice because it'll make CFB talk much, much more interesting than with any other cohost. He's hated by SEC homers simply because he is not an SEC homer.

I just don't see myself enjoying this show without SVP. The segments with Kanell last football season got annoying pretty quickly.
