This is the reason people laughed when Houston announced they had hired him. This is what he does. Does well in regular season. Can't perform in post season. It's like clockwork. Every year.

If he didn't talk so much shite and act so condescending about it, I'd feel bad for the guy. Like I said, I don't hate the rockets, but this was literally the worst possible result for him after his years of posturing on this board.

I was just thinking the same thing. Worst possible scenario.

Rockets lose to the Spurs.
Lost a few hundred dollars.
Harden played like dogshit.

I didn't think their inability to score in the midrange area would be a problem, but lo and behold, here we are.

The Spurs size is no joke. A front line of Pau and Aldridge doesn't scream rim protection but those are two enormous guys. Trying to move Aldridge looks trying to post up a tree.

How did we know the Spurs of all teams would be the team to put it on CC...

Crazy arse Mad Dog Russo made a good point even before the game that these three point heavy squads are what is contributing to blowouts either way as it's feast or famine.

I hate it so much. My feeling on the hire was "at least they will be entertaining"

then the seasons starts and they look awesome. I bought in and even after last night I know that I'll buy back in after one big offseason move. It is clockwork.

if you really think about it his system is really dumb. i mean, three ointt shots are eonly efficent when you have the right floor spacing. motherfricker if i know you arent going to shoot mid range shots i donot have eto guard like two thirds oof the court. i dnot have to worry about getting threw screens im not worried about you settling for a mid range j if you got one aues you just go kick it back out.

his basketball system is equivlant to miscers on the bodybuilding forum coming with the three hundred grams of protien two carbs and no fat diet becasue hey we dont want those carbs turning into fat later and torotien is awesome lol.

his system is just fricking idiotic you cant have floor sacing and bal movement ifev veryyone is on the fricking three point line

i know normally i dont give a shite about my grammer but my keyboarfd has ebola today im ushing one letter another is coming u my utton isnt working at all lol

analytics are meaningless in a league where teams can now secure 2nd place in their conference without breaking ... 75%

analytics assume max effort which isnt happening ub the regular seasos

Rockets put themselves in position to go to the WCF. It ended on a bad note, but still a good season. The rockets are the new Mavs to the Spurs.

eh, the rockets have just been in the various forms of the NBA dead zone for so long. Either the 7-9 seed dead zone or 5-3 "hey it was a good season." It is a testament to Muray that he has been able to keep it steady but as a fan it is just frustrating as shite to constantly be put in your place every playoffs
