Wow he almost holed his approach on 1. It hit a divot and knocked off line.

Tiger's swing looks great

ETA: his shoulders aren't flying out early

Tiger should be -3.

He needs to find his putter. Everything else looks GREAT, I mean, GREAT so far. His drive on 3 missed the fairway by about an inch, other than that, everything has been in regulation.

Poor Phil.

+4. And he NEVER comes from behind at the Open.

Those first three holes were nice birdie looks at the U.S. Open, but they were by no means gimmes that he should have made. Especially with as little as he's played recently. But if he keeps giving himself those looks the next 3 1/2 days, he will win going away again. They'll eventually start to fall.

One hand swing and he still hits the fairway. When Tiger goes high, he is hitting it sideways. From what I see so far, I like his chances.

I hate Berman. Scott Van Pelt and Curtis Strange are absolute money though.

ETA: I really hope this guy that airmailed 17 falls in the water @ 18 tee.

17 looks to be playing as one of the toughest Par 3s I have ever seen....at 230 yards there is nowhere to hit it. Damn.

El Tigre made a hell of a putt for par. I think he would be perfectly content with 18 pars.

And yes, somebody needs to dump Berman in the Pacific.

Kiger.

And look at Davey Toms 2 back!!

I know there's still a lot of golf to be played today, but it would be AWESOME if David started off tomorrow 2 back.

actually, the fact that he hit the lip so damn hard actually gives him a little break there. I am a Sergio fan for some reason unlike so many others....Id like to see him win one.

Never been since The Memorial a few years ago. I was following his group with my dad and I swear the fricker was standing over his ball for 30 seconds continually regripping his hands.

Damn, Tom Rinaldi looks like he's been out on the course a bit this week. His face is more tan than mine
