That's a good point. The Rams are going to take all the criticism themselves. 31 teams are going to be homophobic if they don't claim him off waivers but that's going to be divided up.

This has everything to do with the media circus and the potential distractions for the Rams organization. They were probably looking for half a chance to cut him and they did and his play had something to do with it but not everything.
