Still #1 for me, but probably swayed because my team is good for the first time in over a decade and also fun to watch.

College football is a big dumb loud popcorn movie that people love cause it had a lot of "action" but in reality its crap. NFL is a well made film that people who hate call it "boring" but it is great quality.

Give me the quality any day.

Here's the thing: The higher skill and better coaching in the NFL makes the crazy random and chaotic plays/finishes we see every week in CFB less likely. Teams are less likely to blow big leads, less likely to give up lateral/Hail Mary plays, less likely to give up HUGE chunks in prevent defenses late in games, etc.

College football is crazy because college kids screw up more than professionals.

NFL sucks now because of #1 the ridiculous rule changes and then the officiating. They have really fricked up football in the last 10 or so years.

Ive slowly gravitated to watching sports where there is no real officiating, like MMA and horse racing. Horses dont give a frick about political statements either.

That is just awful my man

I will make an exception for you, but I would usually judge the shite out of someone who said their 2 favorite sports are the NFL and MMA.

That's worse than someone's 2 favorite movies being Transformers and Fast Five.

I can agree with this. I didn't like the NFL until I was about 18(I'm 26). I started to really enjoy it and now with each passing year, find it more and more unwatchable. The rules have a TON to do with it.

I also can admit that being an Alabama fan is probably a huge reason why I love CFB so much. Although, some of their worst teams in the last 20 years are the reason I fell in love with the game.

Very original thread. This board is so envious of the NFLs success, it's freaking hilarious.

Having the same guy on teams for a long time makes the connection a hell of a lot closer. When you have someone like Brady on your team is much more special than 2 years of watching a guy. The connection is no where near as deep. I'll take the years I've had of Brees any day over the 2 years that different top tier guys have played at LSU.

I know this is mainly a college board, so the opinion that college is better is a hot take on here. Pretty much every where else would disagree.

Also that saints Super Bowl was the greatest sports moment in Louisiana history, LSUs titles don't even come close. Like not even 1/10 the celebration and euphoria caused by that win. Also, NFL playoffs are amazing.

NFL has become boring to me as well. College football is so much more entertaining. If it wasn't for fantasy football I'd pretty much only watch the Saints and that's it.

When a team with 9 wins and 7 losses can win the league championship. . .your league is garbage

On the other hand, the SB means everything.

So they can call themselves World Champions when we are the only country in the world that plays the sport?

At least there are international players in the other 3 pro sports.

My rankings of sports are this:

1. CFB
2. NBA
3. NHL
4. March Madness
5. MLB Playoffs - Only time I watch. the regular season is just too damn long.
6. College World Series
7. NFL - except for SB (and even most of those recently have been garbage) just boring as frick to watch.

You probably thought the TB/CAR game tonight was a better game than Aggie/UT

the only thing that keeps me interested in the NFL is fantasy
