Cam Newton and Andrew Luck are the future.

ETA: I do not think Russell Wilson will be an elite QB.

Russell Wilson

Gets way too much credit for his team's success. He has probably the best defense in the league and has a top 3 RB.

Cam will never be elite. He is not accurate enough.

Cam will go the route of Cullpepper if he keeps running around and doesn't start to throw from the pocket. No way he lasts running around like he does. A major injury is coming.

I think Cam is getting ready to really step up. I'm not a cam fan, but that dude is starting to get "the look." I think he is the next Randall Cunningham.

Nothing wrong with being the next Randall Cunningham but Cunningham was never considered an "elite" quarterback. There's a reason he's not in the hall of fame. He showed flashes of greatness but never could be consistent enough.

Matty Stafford will have garish numbers, when it´s all done. Whether´s he´s won anything or not, will be another question.

Based on who's in the NFL?

Aaron Rodgers will be the best in the league for a while after them

Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan hit their ceilings -- they're in the top half of the league right now though, could get into the top tier of active players by default if no one else emerges

Andrew Luck, Cam Newton will be in the conversation, they have the tools to be the next greats and they're on the way but they haven't gotten there yet

Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III could make it, they've got the tools but they've got a long way to go
