The NBA all star game is a glorified dunk contest

It's not basketball
Its 9 people standing around while the one with the ball either jacks up a 3 or goes in for some kind of highlight reel dunk, with no resistance. Calling it token defense is even going too far.
I dont know why they even bother with the game part. Just have a dunking exhibition

Get this...the Globetrotters get away with traveling and do tricks while the clocks runs. I'm astonished they get away with that...so unrealistic!

Do you really want star players making millions getting hurt in an exhibition game? Don't want hard fouls, people cutting, juking, risking an ankle sprain, torn acl, etc. Game don't count so why risk mid season injury.
NFL pro bowl is at end of season and their players don't play hard either. Basically just passing exhibition, can't blitz, run certain plays, etc.
