It is clear to me that Major League Baseball has a problem, but the PC crowd is too scared to talk about it. That problem is all of the international players that can barely speak English and are making the sport more and more trashy. Ventura had to have a translator apologize for him after the fight. Let that sink in for a minute.

There are plenty of players coming out of college baseball - the draft should consist only of these players plus a select few out of high school and a capped number of international players who show fluency in the English language. I would actually rather see them eliminated altogether, to be honest.

idk I like it being an international game. If we could only get more black kids playing. also I miss there being super-hyped Japanese players coming over

Surely you can't be serious? Observing that it's a problem is quite astute, suggesting limitations on international players is absurd. People loved Sammy Sosa and he could barely speak English.

I can't be the only one tired of seeing all these foreigners take up roster spots and trash up the sport. I want to see college stars be pro stars - and yeah I'm an LSU fan but it would benefit every player from every college.

That's the problem. You use emotion to support a non-emotional financial decision.

And yes, you may be the only one tired of them foreign folk that don't speak American.

The NBA should draft all the white Seniors gymrats with great motors and let the one-and-dones ride the pine in the D-league, amirite?

I don't even know what 98% of players sound like. Who cares what language they speak.

As a person who isn't much of a baseball fan, this is not a reason why I don't really follow the sport. For any sport though, I prefer the best players to play, regardless of their language. Your idea is dumb.

Head to the Political Talk board. You can tell them all about "securing the border" and your stance against fast track for TPP. Leave the lighthearted sports talk to people with wit and a brain.

No one wants to talk about it because it's a fricking stupid idea. You should have been more like no one.
