Two badly played last chances to tie/take the lead.

First one wasn't so bad simply because Michigan got into their offense way too late, but the second one was really bad. Go quickly for 2 for 1 or drive and kick. Don't hero ball like that.

West Virginia's was the worst I've ever seen. I didn't hate Michigan's. They've lived and died by the three this entire tournament and their best player got a fairly open shot. Just left it a little short.

Michigan wasn't that bad.

Excellent defense on both plays as well.

In the Michigan game, that was actually good defense. That was the best shot they could get. This latest game though had me wanting to literally scream at the TV.

The final 64 seconds of the game, Gonzaga had possession of the ball for just 2 seconds.

The absolute worst. I've never seen a team take the shot clock down when trailing by 3... Ever.

Eh, it took them awhile for Michigan to get the ball inbounds but the Michigan player did jack squat with it. He dribbled it a couple of times, did a cross over, and heaved it up. Sure, it could have worked but it wasn't even a play.

Sadly that would have been a lot better than what he actually did.

To be fair he threw up 2 pretty terrible 3 balls then hogged it for another and couldn't find anything at all

I just kind of stared at my tv when that happened. As a coach I can't imagine what is going through your head at that point. It's gotta be frustrating as hell to watch a player do something that completely stupid.

True, the dribbling was so terrible it almost made me forget about the two God awful shots he took before. I don't even like West VA and yea I'm still mad. That was just so awful.

It's been a hero tournament on last shots.

Started with 3 1st round games jacking up long 3's - "the best players"

Walton Jr. is supposedly Michigan's best player too - and been the publicity highlight...So I guess it was his turn.

College has gone mid-2000's NBA...clear out for best player or set a simple screen and let him go one one one or a long hero shot.

Since everyone is collapsing in zone, nobody drives and just jacks up another long 3.

Michigan guard probably got a bit better look than he should have.

Considering Oregon had two more fouls to give, I expected them to foul him going for a tie up or steal in the backcourt on the first inbound pass to waste a couple of more seconds.
