The Herd: LeBron Most "Valuable" Player...numbers don't lie

Hits on plenty of facts, stating that the NBA and it's awards are never accurate of what is actual. Gave the example of Phil Jackson only having 1 NBA Coach of the year, yet he has 11 rings? Then says oh Byron Scott has a coach of the year as well..just stating how inaccurate the awards are.
Now back to LeBron, He brings up how "Valuable" LeBron is to the Cavs displaying their record with Lebron in Cleveland, Lebron not in Cleveland(their record without him) then when he returns...

The years without LeBron, the years with LeBron, it outweighs any debate anyone wants to have on how the Cavs are without LeBron on the court....I'm sure someone could pull up the stat of how the Cavs are these past 2 seasons without Lebron on the court..
For the MJ Goat lovers....Check the Bulls record with and without MJ

Bulls stayed the course..they didn't win the ship those 2 seasons, but they still had successful seasons and were +.500 records (MJ played in the 2nd "off season" but they didn't reach the finals)
Just saying, I don't think that anyone else in the league was more worthy to win PLAYER OF THE YEAR more than Steph Curry; unbelievable season. LeBron is easily the best player in the league and the MOST VALUABLE

numbers don't lie....we are talking about NBA and games being played, but you can stretch this even as far as a economy as well...just everything he has done by bringing himself back to that area...I'm not sure if someone in sports history has had such a huge impact on a team,organization, and community...

Coach of the Year is almost always just the best new coach whose team overachieved expectations, in every sport. I don't know why they're so intent on giving it that way, probably because it would be boring if Pop won it every year. With MVP they actually try to give it to the most valuable player

The Cavs lost 75% of their roster (to FA, injury and retirement) and their coach in 2010. I've actually broken this down on this board to dispel the myth you are propagating in the OP. Then they openly went into tank-mode for lottery picks.

As a LeBron homer, I disagree with his assessment. Across almost all value-added metrics, Steph was better this season. Even though his team was better, as a player, he added more value to his team.
LeBron was close though, just not to Steph's level.

What? The 2010 and 2011 Heat had worse records than the Cavs in 2008 and 2009. What's that tell you?

That the Cavs as a TEAM were really good and underrated when Lebron was there - when, in the regular season, they out-performed a super-team that had prime Lebron leading the way.
tl;dr both teams had lebron
