Sock looked so money that first set but whatever hit him at the end really dampened him a bit. He’s looking better in the third but that was a bad set.

I have to admit that I thought Fernandez was going to do the typical knock off a top seed and wilt the next match (Coco, Oudin, etc.) but she really stuck that one out.
