Fed wins Halle for the 8 th or 9th time. Pretty impressive to still be winning at this age.

Halle was garbage. Nobody could break. Roger didn't look great, but he had an easy draw.

Murray looked sharp from what I saw against Anderson. Murray also had to finish a semi today.

Wimbledon starts a week from tomorrow. Can anyone see somebody besides Novak, Murray, or Fed winning? I don't but maybe it's time for a Tsonga or Berdych.

No one could break because the Halle courts play like the old Wimbledon courts, not some slowed down clay courts.

I could see Nishikori winning, depending on what version of him shows up. He beat Fed, Joker, Stan, and Murray last year, so it's not implausible.

Who does everybody consider to be the Wimbledon favorite?

Murray?
Djoker?
Fed?

Well Djokovic is the favorite but overall I expect a very competitive tournament. Murray will be tough to beat and Fed might have one more Wimby run in him. I think we get some great semis and final.

What if I told you that I think Genie Bouchard is overrated as a general matter, but that this picture gave me a modicum of movement?

Ha. I actually think Bouchard is both a better tennis player and prettier than Kournikova. She's just going through a slump. She won her first round match at Eastbourne today.

Is it time to flip the switch and make an Unofficial Wimbledon Thread?

Yeah, I don't want to continue this one. Go for it. I think the draw is Friday.
