The Frozen Four is set

#1 overall seed Denver. Eliminated the last 2 years by the eventual National Champion. Looking to break through for the 8th NCAA title and first since 2005.
Notre Dame is in their 3rd Frozen Four since 2008. Looking for their first National Championship in their "backyard" of Chicago.
No Jimmy Vesey? No care. Harvard is 17-0-1 in their last 18 games and is looking to add to their 1989 National Championship in their first Frozen Four since 1994.
Minnesota-Duluth has once again upstaged the Golden Gophers. Back-to-back 3-2 OT wins over Ohio State and Boston U have UMD in their 5th Frozen Four, and they won it all in 2011.

If anyone gets a chance, going to a Frozen 4 is a must. It's a great atmosphere, and 100x better than the bball final 4. Been 2 both and Frozen 4 blew basketball away.
Only thing CBB has over it, is the fan experience events.

It'd be a lie to say I'm not at least a little disappointed that Penn State's season came to an end against Denver tonight, but hot damn, what a great season they've had.

I've seen just about every minute of every tournament game so far. Denver is scary good, but there's something about the Harvard team this year I think they'll win the tournament. Merrick Madsen reminds me a lot like Jon Gillies when Providence won two years ago.
Fun tournament and lots of competitive, close games. Don't have a team in the semis, just expecting more good hockey.
I can't seem to find it now but there was a spoof page out there about BU and having the best team of all time.

Duluth will be tough. Big, gritty, tough team who knows how to win and win it late(or OT).

North Dakota was jobbed in the BU game. If they play UM-D I think they beat the blonde beauties

They did pretty good with recruiting, after losing Kaskisuo they got Miska in net. Anybody follow the USHL? I know there's a lot of guys that get recruited out of there.

It's crazy how different the teams that are good in hockey are compared to other college sports

Michigan
Lake St is very good
Northern Michigan once won the thing
The team that seems snake bitten is Colorado College.

Harvard should win it but I just don't know if the streak can last. Moy is a stud and can do everything offensively

hell, the best conference in NCAA mens hockey used to be the WCHA:
you had Michigan, Michigan st, Minnesota, North Dakota, Denver, Colorado College, Michigan tech, Wisconsin, Duluth, etc. League was brutal and physical. North Dakota and Minnesota games were nearly all out brawls.

Maine has never recovered from the bs probation they gave them

UMD beat North Dakota all five times they played this year, but I was very happy they didn't have to play them again. No way a team could go 6-0 against them. Should be a great Frozen Four. Notre Dame was the only loss of about 10 UMD home games I went to this year. UMD needs Soucy back for the Harvard game.

This isn't one of Jeff Jackson's best Notre Dame teams, but we're riding one of the hottest players in America right now, and maybe we can keep some of that magic going. Bjork is having a Kemba Walker-like run.

Do you mind expounding on this? I kinda remember a probation in the 90s and know they've been down for the last decade, but don't know what else happened there.

Minnesota State, too.
A lot of those kids in WCHA grew up playing with and against each other. Was always cool to see that continue into college.
