The Detroit Lions are an interesting anomaly

If you average together their offensive run, offensive pass, defensive run, defensive pass and special teams effiency rankings together it comes to 24th in the league. Only five playoff teams EVER in the SB era have had an aggregate that low, and only one division champion.
Their season is a rare outlier in NFL history

I think they lose today and in Dallas, then the division comes down to that last game against the Packers at home.

Yep although I was hoping Seattle was going to beat them in Lambeau last week, but yeah .

Playoff teams usually do at least one thing really well and that brings their average up into the top 18 or so, but the Lions don't really do anything particularly well.

Huh?
Im old school... The game winning drives are virtue of the pass happy NFL these days.... That's all... Gotta give them credit... I don't care what their season stats say.... They are 9-4 and the reason is they happen to have the ball last and deliever....

I think they win today in New York. Both teams have average running games but Detroit's defense is a bit better as is their kicking game and special teams play.

They're very faux IMo and have tough next 3 games:
@Giants
@Cowboys
vs. Packers
They'll lose all 3 imo and be 9-7

Not even going to bother looking up the stats to prove to you that a bunch of game winning drives happened in the NFL prior to the pass happy NFL.

Look up whatever you want... You are A punk young kid,, GFY.... I was agreeing with you but ALL you like to do is argue..... Again grow up..... The NFL is not even close to what it was even 25 years ago... But go ahead and be stupid.........

Wait, what? This makes no sense. It's not like in the 80s teams down by 4 were running the toss dive with 45 seconds to go from their own 35.
