Do you really think that Horford would've reacted the way he did if it hadn't already been established in the minds of the Hawks that the Korver play was, if not dirty, unnecessary?

Horford also admitted that little bitch of a guard for Cleveland plays wreckless and doesn't give a damn who he hurts in the process. Or how much he hurts them.

You probably also bitch about how the today's NBA is soft, don't you?

Christ ATL fans are being such butthurt pussies.

translation... we are too lazy and hate that little australian for being a hustle player every second he is in the game, and putting his body on the line for loose balls while we are standing around hoping it bounces to us.

The only reason anyone is arguing that what happened to Korver was unnecessary is because he got hurt. Otherwise it's just one of many innocuous loose ball scrums. If you're diving for a loose ball, that's necessary because you want to get the ball. What's unnecessary about it? The injury?

Well at last the Hawks like Kentucky, can hold their heads up high about doing very well in the regular season.

The only bush league thing that happened that play was Horford laying the elbow. Delly is a bench player trying to see more minutes and getting on the ground after balls is one of the easiest way to do it.

I personally would have called a flagrant 1 but personally I'm not an NBA ref.

No dog in this fight personally, but lumping those two plays in together is absolutely asinine. One is a basketball play with equally no regard to his or his opponent's well being, and one is a purposeful act of frustration with intent to harm totally away from game-action.

Sorry that is actually what I meant. The bullshite he pulled against Taj is why I don't think he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

I don't exactly have a problem with the ejection, but I also can't really blame Horford for reacting that way. When someone goes at your knees like that, sometimes the natural reaction is like a tiger in a corner.

Interesting, that's the type of play from the 80s and 90s most of the MSB longs for, and says today's players are soft.

Saying it was an accident would have gotten him a fine?
