Not that he would have ever been a HOF QB, but it sucks to see someone throw away so much talent just to party, break the law, and be an all around POS. You can still be a great player and have a great time. Look at Gronk. For the most part, he doesn't cross the line. One day, he'll wake up and realize what he has thrown away.

ok....and?

Did the source say that the DV allegations are the reason why dallas has no interest? If not then so what?

You know, sometimes rules play an important part to keep you there from hurting yourself. Manziel wasn't subject to any discipline at A&M and he learned he can get away with being irresponsible.

I'm a Cowboys fan, but this is some hypocritical bullshite right here

Regardless, Manziel has more important shite to worry about than playing a game for a living.

you learn to deal with criminals if they're also productive on the field. sounds hypocritical i guess, but manziel isn't worth the risk to dallas, while they clearly felt hardy was

Manziel is a douche and it is so easy to not feel sorry for him.

Jerry Jones could use another leader to go with Greg Hardy

And they are moving on from him as well.

quote:

Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports the Cowboys will not re-sign impending free agent DE Greg Hardy.

Despite playing well, Cole reports the Cowboys tired of Hardy's antics and partying throughout the season. Asked if he wanted to re-sign Hardy after the season, coach Jason Garrett said he did not want to talk about "any personnel decisions." Hardy is clearly a distraction in the locker room, but he is talented enough for another team to give him a chance. Jan 28 - 1:00 PM

I don't know why everyone had such an infatuation with Manziel to the Cowboys. The Cowboys dodged the bullet once and then watched JFF party his way off of a more QB-needy team.

What upside is there? TBH, the Texans could use Manziel more than the Cowboys and they kept Mallett around for a bit after he seemed like a complete idiot too.

The story going around at the time was that Jerry wanted to draft Johnny M but Steven Jones talked Jerry out of it.

Or he will wake up & find himself in jail like Ryan Leaf. So far, no biggies on his record. But at this pace, he's going to hurt some girl and/or drink & drive one time too many & kill someone. Does the new legal term "affluenza" ring a bell?
