Rene Ranger has gotten out of his contract with Montpellier citing family reasons and will be back with the Blues. I'm sure with the goal of making the All Blacks World Cup squad.

I guess everybody is coming back home lol. I noticed Hosea Gear is back as well.

Match of the season up to this point.

Haven't watched the second half yet but damn that first half was very intense. Best rugby I saw this weekend including Ireland vs Wales.

Talk about a red card fest. 3 of them so far in one game.

Haven't got to watch any other matches yet but getting ready to watch that Highlanders vs Hurricanes match. Though New Zealand derby's almost never disappoint.

Surprised to hear Steve Walsh retired from refereeing. Seemed like that came out of nowhere.

Not to disparage the man, but he has fought the bottle demons for quite a long time. I liked him as a ref and hope he is successful in the future

I am picking:

Leinster - they have struggled at home, but think they will come through this weekend

Clermont - Saints I believe are a better team, but in France, not a good shot

Saracens - It is going to be hard for any team to win in France, but they are playing very well right now and can play the type of ugly game to win

Toulon - too much for the Wasps at home

Yeah solid picks though almost missed with that Saracens pick, what an ending to that game.

And remind me again why was I worried about the English Champs? I know Clermont probably has the best homefield advantage in Europe but damn!

Clermont is such a machine....Racing has about as much talent, with 25% of the brains, thus why they are out.

Clermont-Toulon final unless a miracle upset happens...

Still can't figure out how Bath just let Nick Abendanon leave but I guess the same way we're letting Napolioni Nalaga leave for Toulon.

Would be pretty sweet, we already beat Toulon in Top 14 play earlier this season. But Clermont are always the bridesmaids so I'm expecting a loss in the Semis or the Finals.
