They both suck...Big East's best bowl teams (with the exception of BCS bowl) get's the other top conferences worst bowl teams in matchups or they play against the WAC or Sun Belt
As for head to head with the ACC...
Rutgers and Louisville lost to UNC, a very average ACC team. Louisville also lost to NC State head to head in a bowl.
West Virginia barely beat the ACC's WORST team this season, Maryland.
South Florida lost to Miami...although both teams were at the bottom of their conferences.
Now I'm not going to argue that the ACC is better (Syracuse beat Wake Forest, Cinci crushed NC State, the obvious orange bowl) I just think both conferences are really down.
