hell no. i just rag on Heyward because he's been playing like shite. Its not like he won the world series for ATL and im denying his talent. Hell if my name was BenchHeyward people might confuse me for Fredi Gonzalez. he rides the pine 5 days out of the week as it is. Freeman is ten times the player that Heyward is. Heyward has regressed at the plate, he takes bad angles and has a shitty arm in the outfield, and he's a puss.

Braves reliever Eric O'Flaherty switched agents and is now a client of Dan Lozano's Icon Sports Group, according to Yahoo's Tim Brown (on Twitter). Steve Canter formerly represented the left-hander, who will be arbitration eligible for the second time after the season.

Got the game turned on just in time to see Venters shut the door.

Nice to keep the W's rolling in and start this road trip off right!

Thanks for making my point for me.

Constanza for starters. Jose Bautista, Hunter Pence, Carlos Beltran (at this stage of his career), Kosuke Fukodome, Nick Markakis, Carlos Quentin...there are a lot of really shitty defensive corner outfielders out there. Heyward isn't great but he's average.

Arizona lost to the Nats. all of a sudden the Giants are just one game back and start a home stand tomorrow against the Padres. then the Astros and Cubbies come to town.

They are falling apart. Is that 7 losses in a row?

I'm not liking how much they rely on the long ball for a shite ton of their offense

Wow, I didn't get to see JJ pitch, but I expected his line to look much better considering he didn't give up any runs. 8 hits, 5 walks, and 1 K.... how did he manage to keep any cubbies from crossing the plate?

This team's got a chance. Love having Bourn at the top of the lineup and Uggla smashing the cleanup spot. Need JJ and Tommy to get back on track though.

that's changed quite a bit since the break

They can win two different ways now. The only thing really holding the offense back the 2nd half has been hitting with runners in scoring position, which they did excellently in the first half. Once they get that going again, with the added speed, it's a really dangerous offense. And judging by our runs and the rest of the offensive statistics the 2nd half, this offense is already becoming dangerous.

Keeping the pitching going is more worrisome to me right now.
