Thankfully we are going to have some money to spend the next few years. This regime will definitely need to hit on a couple hitters in free agency/trades to make a WS push possible. But I just want to win a damn postseason series at this point.

yea clearly they're building for two years from now when they move to Marietta, can't really blame the Braves for that it makes sense to not want to stink the year the spotlights going to be shining on you.

For sure. They were in a position in where they weren't going to catch the Nats no matter what and had two of their best players entering the final year of their deals. And with a shitty farm and new stadium on the horizon, what needed to be done became much clearer.
