BJ has a big league track record. Gattis does not.

Gattis is terrible in the outfield. BJ is good in center.

The reason BJ and Dan are the highest paid players on the team is because they have been in the league the longest. It is simple as that.

So if you can't hit an inside pitch, your OBP will go up. Makes sense.

Some guys are just "better" at getting hit by a pitch. For a guy like Craig Biggio, it added a lot of value
