I was worried about him being in the HR derby. Several players have had slumps after competing in it. Bobby Aubru was never the same after he won it.

Well he's slumping now, so that doesn't really matter.

He’s always been a free swinger; just wondering if he has too much “home run or nothing” on his mind right now. Will be interested to see how me he performs after the break.

Through four innings in Chicago, it's the NL East best Metropolitans 1, North Siders 1

I really hope he’s just slumping and it isn’t residual from his ACL

You're going to take this as me biting your hook, but I'm legit curious what your story is behind the Alejandro/SirWinston persona?

Like what brought you to TD and made you decide this is the place where you are going to create this alter ego. What bad shakes have you gone through in life to lead you to that?

It really would be a fascinating Lifetime movie or TNT daytime drama. Or maybe you're just pulling a Gerald on South Park and you're a totally normal middle class businessman who just trolls "for the lulz".

I am like 68.3% sure you voted for Biden though and just pretend to be MAGA on here to attract the other moths on this board.

It usually takes 2 full years to get to 100% off of that injury

You nailed it with the Gerald analogy.

The reason you think that I voted for Biden is bc I am a total liberal stereotype with the exceptions of loving / being good at sports and being right wing AF in my politics and trying to frick as many chicks as possible.

I have a tough time these days because MAGA folks are typically not stylish / cultural enough for me, yet liberals (who tend to share my love of international travel, fashion, tennis, dining, theater, arts) all despise me once they become aware of my politics. I think my personal on TD is partially my coping mechanism for the weird balancing act / social dynamics I have to endure constantly out here.

And I know that there are conservatives who love all of those things I mentioned, but for some reason I tend to only meet the salt of the earth ones. Maybe because of work circles or something? It's puzzling.

I feel like if we keep taking 2/3 and 3/4 in these series, we will win the division. You can’t win em all.

Good 1st half by the Braves, particularly from June on.
1 concern is our leadoff hitting superstar's timing and confidence at the plate seems to be low.

Yeah, I don't believe any of that.

If I had to guess, you're a married dude in your 40's who is working in a comfortable enough office job that pays the bills.

Sure, but it is annoying that we entered these last two series of the first half down 1.5 with the Mets coming to ATL, followed by the worst team in the league and we may go into the break having lost two games in the race.

Still a lot of baseball left, but with the deadline coming, we still need one more solid bullpen arm and a lefty bat.
