CJ sucks, manager sucks. Need a few more stats to make another perfect Braves thread. Maybe we can see the stat about number of games left against above .500 teams. Was 13. I wonder what it is now?

I forgot, this is how lineup should be. Golden

You didn't answer me last time. Could you please make a list of which stats are stupid and which aren't? I think it would help me to be a better baseball fan.

Oh ok. Thanks for the help! Could you let me know of some specific stats that are stupid or good, though?

Did not expect the Braves to lose to the Mariners at home..

Haven't kept up much this season, but it appears the Braves made the right move letting McCann walk (.234 avg, 7 homers) and giving the reigns to Gattis (.260 avg, 12 homers)

It was also a good move because McCann won't be able to be a catcher by the end of the deal, and we have Freddie at first base and no DH spot to put him in.

.662 OPS. He's been terrible.

A lot of unearned runs recently it seems like.

I do not have very much confidence in our defense outside of Heyward and Simmons.

Dan Uggla Replacement Squad Update:

Since being called up from AAA,

Tommy La Stella (6 games) is 8 for 19. He's scored 2 runs, walked twice, stolen 1 base and knocked in 1 run.

He's only struck out ONE TIME so far.

His avg is .421 and OBP is .476.

I realize this is a small sample size, but the fact that this young guy only has 1 strikeout in 21 Total Plate Appearances is very encouraging.
