Retired 15 straight, doing work. Been a great weekend so far, last night was really encouraging.

Metropolitans got swept by Brewers last weekend and now Braves.
Collins needs to hand out Viagra in the clubhouse because his lineup is impotent as frick.

Yeah feeling a little better about the future. Love how Inciarte plays the game.

The Mets are a shite show right now and I'm loving it.

Atlanta Braves ?@Braves 2m2 minutes ago
Mallex Smith left today's game in the 7th inning after being hit by a pitch. He is getting x-rays on his left thumb.

That looked horrible. His demeanor on the basepaths wasn't a good sign. Couldn't even hold his gloves.

Love watching Ender play the game. Glad they didn't deal him earlier and really, really hope they don't.

I'm scared to look up the Mallex injury.

Looking at their rosters I'm not sure Miami doesn't pass NYM for second in the east. Just zero offense in Ny.

Apparently it is a fracture.

Amazing how not having Fredi as the manager has changed this team.
Are they all of a sudden a good team? No.
Are they no longer playing like the worst team in MLB history? Yes.

Really pisses you off when you think back to some of our recent playoff teams. Would have gone much further with better management.

Freddie was as bad, if not worse, of a game manager than Bobby Cox. He lacked Cox's teaching and motivational skills.
The Bobby/Freddie vs good baseball was exemplified Saturday night by Freeman and Inciarte .
Inciarte hustled into a double. Made a smart play to take 3rd when the Mets RF laid off a play, then hustled and scored on a wild pitch.
Freeman was playing Cox ball the whole time. He should have advanced to second on the pitch before ender scored. Worst case, C throws to 2nd and Freeman gets In a rundown so ender scores. Instead he's there looking like a goober.
Hopefully Inciarte's play will continue to rub off
