That was a homerun or strikeout coming had it not hit him.

Remember when Zambrano fought Michael Barrett when we played them a couple years ago?

I don't think so. I think it was in May.

I was at the game where Zambrano got ejected for throwing at Chipper and the benches cleared.

Then he just left the ballpark after heading down the tunnel. Got suspended by the Cubs. Believe that was Bobby Cox jersey retirement night.

LINK

That's a mobile link.

June 1, 2007. The article mentions such Braves greats as Pete Orr and Kyle Davies.

Dan Uggla set the Atlanta record for longest hitting streak that night as well

Opening day for 2010 season:

April 4, 2010

Carlos Zambrano vs Atlanta

1.1 IP, 6 H, 8 ER

Final score: 16-5

I'm pretty sure I remember Z getting into it with somebody in his dugout after he was lifted that game

If that's the game when he threw at Chipper, Piniella made him leave the ballpark.

Or maybe he just left on his own. I think he may have left and acted like he was quitting.

ETA: vol mentioned it above.

No I think that was in August.

The opening day meltdown was when Derek Lowe gave up like 4 runs in the first and then the Braves took the lead on Heyward's first HR.

Oh okay. So many different cases of Zambrano melting down against the Braves.
