Lobatan Holy frick. The Nats are done. This is not a team any different from last year. Appears to be worse.

Anything to do around Citi Field that I've missed in the past? Last time we had to walk like half a mile to buy beer at some sketch gas station and drink shadily in the parking lot because we couldn't find a bar.

I believe they have a winning record against every team except ATL and St. Louis since 2012. Heard on Nats broadcast they are 6-12 against them last 2 years.

Any place in particular you'd recommend? We were just planning on hitting a happy hour around grand central before hopping on the 7. I don't have much experience with that area but I'm sure it's expensive relatively speaking.

honestly, your idea of doing that may be better. there's a few irish pubs right off vanderbilt on 43rd i think. then you can walk across the street to take the 7. if you're there for happy hour, it won't be too expensive.

if you wanna go the sunnyside route to the cheaper bars, then get off at 46th on the 7, walk north to skillman avenue, and there's a few bars there. we actually went on a mardi gras pub crawl around there. pretty nice little area. sunnyside is one of my favorite places in queens outside of astoria and forest hills.
