Worst AB of the day to close it out.

I wasn't in favor of moving him back to cleanup because of this reason, but i didn't think he'd actually cool off even close to this quick.

Anyone know why he chose to go to Moo State? Grew up in Baton Rouge area.

Lose one tomorrow, and we call that a losing streak

How do we not even get Gattis an AB?
Let him hit for CJ shite, at this point he's more likely to homer in Citizen Bank Park than anything else

In hindsight, the best move would have been to pinch hit Doumit for Wood and have Schafer run for Laird. Doumit catches the 8th inning and new pitcher comes in. Wood needs to learn to bunt.

bc Fredi asked his magic 8 ball and it told him not to put Gattis in
that is how I imagine he makes decisions in the dugout

I mean you can blame fredi all you want but when you get a shutout it's all on the offense. Heyward and upton could have scored him with a base hit

shhhhhhhhhhh. everything is Fredi's fault when we lose. we win despite of him, remember?

I'm not one for blaming a baseball manager for every little thing, but that was a total bullshite move in the 8th. Wood deserved a win, but we lost 'because' Fredi gave him the opportunity at the W. Pastornicky would have gotten Laird over, Heyward's hard hit ball would have sacrificed, and it would have been up to Carpenter in the 8th to hold.
I don't give a frick. You don't lower your chances dramatically of a win because you feel the need to get a young guy a decision win. Team win > pitcher win

If we had taken the lead there, Wood would have gotten the win.

If the pitcher wins the team wins
