Well people thought he was the best player in the world last year(LOFL). Btw, we have freakin' "experts" here and all over the damn planet who thought he was better than Lebron. Holy shite
Anyways, he isn't even the best player on his own team now. And the guy who is better than him isn't better than Lebron. So that makes Curry at least 3rd. Probably lower than that, though.
That'll take away some confidence for a guy as insanely confident as Curry. He thought he was the best player on earth last year, and acted like it. Now a baby(or was it bitch?) is better than him.

Let's be real if curry doesn't get hurt in the Houston series they have a strong argument for greatest team of all time right now bc they wouldn't have even played a game 6 in the playoffs last year.

The injury was a freak accident too. It wasn't a wear-and-tear injury caused by pushing for the record. It was caused by Curry slipping on Donatas Motiejunas' back sweat. The Rockets ultimately screwed the Thunder with that play, as Durant likely stays in OKC if the Warriors win the title.

If Love and Kyrie didn't get hurt 2 years ago, GS would be blowing their team up right now. Would be 2 losses back to back.
If they don't win it this year, they won't be winning anytime soon as they will let go most of their bench or lose a key player due to the cap.
