If it would bother me, I would call my future boss (Harbaugh) and have a quick chat with him and explain the situation and ask for that reassurance. I would, you know, act like a man about it.

Ben Roethlisberger didn't start at QB for his HS team until his senior year (coach's son was QB before him I believe). It's kinda the reason he ended up at Miami. I would take with a grain of salt anything he says regarding eliminating any big time schools recruiting him. Because they probably weren't really going after him that hard anyway.

Yes, they offered him a $100k+ education at a great public university, one of their 20 some odd such slots annually. Some hungover grad assistant was told by Harbaugh or some coach "hey send a letter to all the attendees this weekend and I'll sign it", and it gets botched.

What a delicate, pussy generation this is. He's like 17. Far worse omissions and mistakes happen all the time in the corporate world.
