Deadspin is now run by super hardcore leftists. They have been god awful for awhile now. I refuse to go over there and it sucks because they used to be funny.

Cruz is actually probably one the smartest guys to run for president in a long time.

His campaign was also extremely web/social media centric and made some absolutely hilarious commercials. You can find Ted unlikeable and creepy, which most do, but don't at all underestimate him. He's actually the closest thing to Obama, on paper, the Republicans ran. Witty, up on pop culture, top Harvard Law students, ethnic minority, extremely rigid in their beliefs, etc.

He just comes off as extra creepy whereas Obama had charisma, looked presidential, and could whoo people into voting for him because of his likeability. If Cruz had a similar smoothness to Obama he would've easily won the presidency.
