Now 10 games into his promotion, Tebow is rocking a .345 batting average and is currently on a five-game hitting streak.
With six RBI in his last four games, Tebow has done just about everything the Mets could have hoped for.

He also has two home runs and a slugging percentage of .621. Those numbers put him among the most productive players on the team. He has the highest batting average of any player with at least 25 at-bats on the Mets' roster

Closing in on his NFL completion percentage.

With as terrible as the mets are this season, I really wouldn't be surprised to see this dude at Citi in August

Can't wait to see him be the best player on the Mets

If this dude makes it all the way to the majors and is somewhat successful it will go down as one of the more improbable sports stories ever.

Some might say it's a God thing

Kirk Cameron will play him in the movie.

i'm rooting for him but he's still in A-ball

Pulling for Tebow. So many folks said he didnt deserve the promotion to High-A, and maybe he didnt, but if he keeps performing like this, his next promotion should be justified.

I'll admit I was wrong on here about him. If he's makes it to AA or AAA or hell even the majors, that would be a hell of an accomplishment. If he actually were to hypothetically have even an average/below average MLB multi-yr career, it would be an pretty unprecedented feat considering his actual time away from baeeball and never playing anything other then high school ball. Tebow, and the media fascination that comes with him has always annoyed me and I was honestly rooting for him to fail at first. Im hoping he succeeds now.

I feel like Tebow is one of those guys who might not be exceptionally skilled in any one area to become elite in any one professional sport, he has the athletic ability and work ethic to probably be a fringe professional in any sport he chose to dedicate his time to.

Never a doubt in my mind.

No one will outwork him, that's for sure. Isn't that etched onto a plaque somewhere?

The Mets will promote him just to save their season, that is the reason they are bringing back Colon. They both draw a crowd and the Mets are pretty bad to watch
