Good for Winston, but no reason to knock on him just because Winston did both.
Tebow is pretty devoted and a guy I respect immensely that really gets way too much hate. Not sure why anyone wouldn't want to root for him. He's never been condescending. He lives his life by his beliefs and actually stands for good whether you agree with him or not. Love what he does for the mentally disabled youth with his prom event across the country and world, among several other charity works of his.
People still look for reasons to nitpick or bash the man and root for his failure. No one is perfect, which is the whole point of even needing God. People try to say oh he wants attention.. The man is chasing an opportunity, good for him. Shaq has tackled several opportunities since the NBA and I think it's wonderful to go after different things.
And there's never been game I rooted harder for a win than the one against him and the gators in 2007.
I think it's respectable he gave up one sport to focus on another just as it is to play both.

I doubt a coach like Urban would've let him.
Even if he had, given the strength of Florida's program and Tebow's talent as a player, or lack thereof, he wouldn't have seen the field unless Florida wanted to appease the fans

Nah I'm not tryin to wreck on him, just curious as to what others thought about the comparison. I personally think Tebow is the greatest college QB of all time, plus I grew up watching him since he was in HS. Nease is like 20 min from where I grew up, and I watched a lot of crazy shite his teams did down in the Swamp. I'm a Tebow fan, and I hope he succeeds at whatever he does.
