Are you saying you wouldn't draft Adrian Peterson?

I've been banging the "don't draft a RB in the first unless he's an AP type talent" for years now

Gurley is that level of talent.

You can say this about every position if we cherry pick like the OP

OL and Pass Rushers are way more likely to hit in the 1st round compared to RB.

Provide the same analysis as with RBs.

In other words, prove it.

Well they are drafted in the first at a much more frequent level so that's to be expected

Will Melvin Gordon finally be the Wisconsin back who actually does something in the NFL? I doubt it.

I don't see why not.

I know the history of Wisconsin backs in the NFL but Gordon's better than all of them and it's not close.

Montee ball was fricked the day that Verlanderbeast started knighting for him and claiming he was the missing piece of Mannings next Super Bowl team

Well Mike Iupati, Mike Pouncey, Kyle Long, Jake Matthews, Zack Martin, Lane Johnson, Justin Pugh, Matt Kalil, Nate Solder, Russell Okung, Andre Smith, Michael Oher, Jake Long, Ryan CLady were all solid 1st round picks.

Yeah, and he also wanted Stedman Bailey really bad... What exactly has he done in St. Louis? Not a damned thing.

Either way, Denver has drafted a lot of running back busts lately. Knowshon Moreno, Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball have all failed to live up to the hype. Knowshon Moreno was let go, and Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball have both lost their starting job to CJ Anderson (the next great Denver Broncos running back).
