Good hire on their part. Could be a dangerous team in the next few years

Bulls should have never let him go. Great hire by the T-Wolves and now Thibs doesn't have to look over his shoulder anymore.

Wiggins is fixing to the lead the league minutes.

LaVine doesn't seem like a Thibs guy.

He was never coming to coach Harden or our front office. He wants too much control.

That relationship was untenable. It was time for him to move on.

Wiggins and Towns will be dead by the time they reach 26.

You watching Luol Deng play lately?

This minutes thing with Thibs is so overblown.

Yes - it seems playing 32 MPG instead of 39 agrees with him come playoff time.

Who knew?!

A couple things on this. I still think giving these guys player personnel control is risky. But, Minnesota wanted to do this because Van Gundy seems to be working well in Detroit. And, I guess there are only so many great coaches to go around, so this is going to be how small markets get these guys.

Also, everyone has re-written the Chicago thing so that Thibs is blameless and Chicago management are butthurt egomaniacs. But, Thibs seems like an odd duck to me.

No, theres truth to both, but the Thibs minutes thing is just dumb to me. Rose was barely playing 30 minutes a game this season, and he'd get hurt every other night.

Chicago never had enough offense in the playoffs to be capable of winning a title.

Oh yeah, never mind the fact that Miami blasted Charlotte in both games, right?

I love Thibs, but it was time for him to go. That relationship was severely strained for whatever reason. But obviously Hoiberg doesn't appear to be the answer either. Awesome hire for Minny.
