Read about this yesterday. Sounds great, DVR is set! It's amazing they have all the original audio and camera angles.

Wow. I didn't know they still had a copy. I saw an article a few years ago that said there were no known copies.

You were right to be surprised, honestly. Reason is because the networks re-used video tape back then. They didn't store it. Not only that but the game wasn't filmed by the networks.

Did the brand new NFL Films film every play? I wish I knew from where these images came. It is a minor miracle that enough footage was found to re-create every play.

I know that there is indeed a very nice color copy of the entire NBC broadcast for Superbowl III, NY Jets vs. Baltimore Colts. I taped it on VCR years ago.

This is a must watch for any football fan. Esp the young ones that think they know what the NFL was like back then.

I'm pretty excited about it. Perhaps it will serve as a reminder to all the old geezers that the level of play back then was abysmal compared to today's game.
