There is an arbitrage opportunity if you have 5Dimes and Sportsbook.

Anderson number of receptions +1.5
Over at 5Dimes -155
Under at SB +165

main thing that concerns me with Denver is that Carolina's defense has been opportunistic in the playoffs and they've housed a few interceptions to the endzone for a score. I think if they get another one in this game, they'll cover.

otherwise, a mistake free game by Denver's O and I think they'll cover.

The thing about Panthers is everyone thinks Cam Newton runs wild but he wont. If you look at the past games they played and the SOS you would see that cam had trouble against the pass rush. Atlanta was able to stop him. Seattle was able to stop him the second half with a shite Defense. He still cant read a defense and this is where Wade Philips will make him pay.

The Panthers offensive line isnt that great. Von Miller and Ware will eat Micheal Oher a new arse. He sucks. Almost 2/3 of the Panthers offense/yards goes to TEs. That means Wade Phillips knows he has the better CBs to cover the WRs of the Panthers man to man leaving plenty options to keep Olsen contained.

Denver will stop the run because the Newtons seldom use the RBs to gain yards. Stewart is a plodder that is slow. He doesnt scare anyone. Newton the one teams are afraid of. Keep him in the pocket and you will beat him like a drum.

He is not accurate and I wouldnt trust Ginn to be the man to beat anyone. He is too inconsistent.

Manning isnt going to throw for 300yds. He is playing not to lose. Thats it. No turnovers= WIN

There are a few more things I have seen to lead me to believe Manning goes out with a ring, and most of them have nothing to do with the X's and O's of the game.

Yep. Thats what it looks like. But thats only scratching the surface.
You should take a look at who it was against.

He was pressured on 192 times he dropped back this season. His output was 80/157 51%, 6TD, 6INT and the 19th worst rating under pressure of all QBs. He will throw a INT. Ware and Miller will see to it.

I did. It included 2 of the top defenses in the nfl. However, the issue was his accuracy. It is better than you stated. Nevertheless, Denver D is good and they could win. Most of the reasons you posted were not really good ones though. Also, Peyton v the panthers d is likely more of an issue than Cam v. The broncos.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. I would be surprised if Peyton didn't throw a couple as well.

Manning is smarter than Cam and can read a defense. He will play not to lose while Cam will play like Superman. The difference is Cam doesnt know what he is getting into. I see alot of people saying Panthers blow Denver out. Wont happen. Denver didnt get to the SB to lose by 30 points. They are now prepared and learned alot from that Seattle Bowl. They didnt have the defense then. They do now and it will be the difference in the game.

Cam can read defenses and is better than Peyton at this point.

I don't think it will either.

This doesn't really make much sense.

I'm pretty sure Peyton's number was worst under pressure. But at this point, most people have made up their minds on who's going to win anyway.

Bump and a little from vegas insiders

quote:

"We started seeing everyone go to -5.5 yesterday, but we weren't ready to go," said Golden Nugget sports book director Tony Miller. "I told our crew to hold the number and let me know when someone wanted a large wager, and sure enough a guy came in a few minutes later and asked us how much we'd take with Denver at +6. We took a larger than normal wager and moved, but we're still way long on Carolina."

The guy that made the wager was a known wise guy in desperation mode knowing that he almost snoozed too long waiting for Denver +6.5, and knew the well was running dry in town at +6.

William Hill books made their move to -5.5 about an hour earlier than the Golden Nugget.

"We're still buried on the Panthers, but when we were at +6, we did get a little higher on the Broncos," said William Hill's top bookmaker Nick Bogdanovich. "Still, we're at about an 8-to-1 ratio with cash wagered on the Panthers."

On Monday, William Hill books had 91 percent of its spread wagers on the Panthers.

Solid post and guaranteed, Ted Ginn, Jr will screw the pooch somehow.

That said, Carolina wins and covers.

Locked in on 2 prop bets so far, $50 each:

Cam Newton 1st TD scored +600

Peyton Manning 1 TD pass +250

Manning has thrown 1 TD pass in each of his 3 previous SBs.

ETA: FWIW, peej dropped this bomb in another thread yesterday...This is A no-brainer... Carolina Covers and wins by double digits......
