nah that would go to Frankel and sea the Stars. Both are clocking between 250k-500k per.

it's gonna be over 100k but not 200k. probably somewhere around 125-150k which is great for a first year stallion. no one is paying more than that for a first year stallion TC or not. too many proven commedities out there. and he'll get the best of the best mares to bred with

Were Frankel and Sea the Stars badasses? Or do they have rare traits?

was sea the stars a bad arse watch this shite

LINK

jump to the 2min mark and watch the horse in yellow who is in the back go from 15th to 1st in about 5 strides in the toughest race on the planet

only lost once, his maiden race. never lost again

sea the stars is also a brother of Galileo who was a world class sire. His mother Urbean sea also won the Arc, the race i just showed above. Also a sistter to My Thyhoon a world class filly. He has probably the bst bloodd lines on the planet. \and yes he was a bad arse

Frankel was just that fricking bad arse of a horse. as good of a horse as American Phroah was i have no doubt in my mind frankel would run him into the ground.

the thing that makes stallions more vauable is producing good horses. horses have to be priced so that peole can breed, race the hosre, and sale them and make a profit. I would think american phroaah babies would be fetching 400k at least anything over 200k really is not going to be plasuable now. now if he gets successful like say, storm cat, and his babies sell for millions every time, then you can raise the price to 400-500k

Stud Rights Sold

quote:

American Pharoah could collect between $6 million to $7.5 million in stud fees every year for decades to come.

Justin Zayat, racing manager for Zayat Stables, told ESPN that they had passed on an offer "north of $20 million" for the breeding rights

Damn that was crazy! Why don't some of the best horses race in the 3 big ones? Kinda figured that's what it's all about.

Storm Cat got up to $500k a pop and netted over $128 million in his lifetime. His lineage is pretty damn golden though.

where this really effects is the sales ring IMHO

it's been a long time, at least 10 years or so since we really seen any "wow" sales ring horses. It's been almost 10 years since the green monkey sold for 16 million dollars people aren't spending like that anymore

i think that changes with american phroah. Becuase you are going to see some all star matchups. AP with Racdhel Alexandra, AP with Zenyatta, AP with Rags to riches, AP with Ojuia Board, AP with blind luck, AP is finna get all that prime horse pussy lol.

you get a sales yearling with AP x... Rachel and you're looking at a firework show 5-10 million dollars

yep. northern dancer, the sire of all sires, was popping a million per.. back in the 60s/70s. but everything he put his dick into was godlen

Seattle Slew got up towards 800k at one point but Slew bred stallions. not just race horses
