Beat that loudmouth Brit Bisping

that was more enjoyable to me than tonight. dont get me wrong, tonight was pretty darn good. the GOAT gets beat by a middleweight and then claims early stoppage

In all fairness, Bisping seems to have been humbled and a changed man since Hendo KO. He came off as very likeable on UFC Live after his next fight/win.

Sorta like the guy now, though I went ape and watched the replay of Hendo's timed/stepped KO a million times.

lets not forget Herb went in and gave it an extra 3 seconds at least and Fedor was not defending himself.

i couldnt tell if herb was stopping the fight or if he was breaking up hendo from punching the back of his head. on the replay its easy to see that fedor was limp, but in real time, i didnt see it at all. pretty good call by herb. thats a tough call to make that quick.

after watching the replays it really wasn't. Herb did a great job there

i agree. i'm a fedor fan; because, to be quite honest, it's hard to hate fedor. fedor's a cyborg, and all that, but he was out for a few seconds. he recovered well, but herb dean would've been doing a disservice to fedor's health to continue on, and that's what herb dean is there for. it was an excellent stoppage, imo.

Herb looked like he stuck his head in the middle of the thing which was dangerous enough

herb was really close to stopping it when hendo was rolling around. i think thats what got him tensed up. i hate to see someone get hurt, but in these "retirement" fights, you really need to let the KO be a convincing one. If not for the fans, it should be for the fighter. let them know its their time to bow out.

That is one of the main things Herb is in there for though. Fedor was out for a second so he called it before he got really hurt. As a fan sometimes it sucks because your really don't know for sure what would happen if they let it go for a few more seconds..... But, he did his job there. No one can fault him for stopping that fight, he did what he was there to do.

I never doubt Herb Dean. If he stopped the fight it was legit.

Just watched it and looked like 2 illegal blows to the back of the head by Hendo, then Fedor rolls over and Dean stops it. Pretty shitty deal for Fedor.

Fedor hasn't beaten a truly elite fighter in 5-6 years. Hendo is a legend, but he's 40 and essentially fighting up 2 weight classes.

Count me as a person that has never really had a problem with him. His fights are always good, and I've always thought he was hilarious since he came on the scene on TUF 3.

Fedor went limp on the uppercut from behind and went face first into the mat. Was not a bad stop IMO. I'd like to see KB's opinion on it

This wasn't a title fight, but Fedor is/ was Showtime's big draw. Fedor flat out did not get the benefit of the doubt that Lesnar got.

That said, I still think it was a solid stop. Also, I can't recall if Lesnar ever went limp against Carwin.
