Where is the Michelle Beadle suspension for violating social media policy and criticizing her on air colleagues? Even Simmons got a slap on the wrist for criticizing the golden goose that is first take.

I agree with Stephen A. Let me explain. A man should NEVER hit a woman. I can never condone it. But at the same time, a woman may have it coming sometimes. As a woman, you can not sit there and provoke a man in his face, everybody has a breaking point. Some females think its completely fair to hit and completely berate a man, and be shocked when he retaliates. I've been at this point before with an ex. This bit.. young lady slapped me in the face hard while I was driving. And she did it multiple times. I was able to refrain myself from hitting her. Instead I just puller over and kicked her out. But most guys could not show the level of restraint I did in that situation. And honestly, I can't fault them either.

My point is, domestic violence is a serious thing. I hate with a passion women beaters. But I believe it's very important for young ladies to learn that men do have a breaking point, and it would be wise to not purposely push all of their buttons.

I asked a simple yes or no question.

Also, what are you trying to win? I don't have any prizes.

SAS is fine albeit a bit polarizing, but that's good for Tv/radio. He's entertaining and does not push racial agenda like Jemele Hill. He usually will take the broad viewpoint on those sort of subjects.

Bayless is a dnozzle and mostly unpopular - he exists to play the anti-SAS role but I can't imagine many under 50 yr old viewers that legitimately like him.

I honestly for the life of me can't figure out why people seriously hate these ESPN guys. What do they do that affects your life personally so bad. I mean there are plenty of shows I don't like to watch because it doesnt interest me, but I cant find it in me to hate the people. I just dont watch them, simple as that.

I can hate them for race baiting, for taking the place of better shows I might watch, and for just plain sucking

An incredibly simple solution that most seem unaware of. It blows my mind that people sincerely hate those people (and therefore the show) yet continue to watch their show.

Why cant he just be referenced as Stephen Smith? Is there another Stephen Smith out there that creates the necessity to use his middle initial to make everyone aware he is the stooge on ESPN? Yes it rustles my jimbobs.

It really disgust me how every time there's a thread about someone suspended or fired dor an opinion how many people are fine with it or even happy about it.

Im not a fan of sas at all.But I dont want him in trouble. Thr same people happy about this dont understand thay eventually someone they like will say something that some group doesn't like and when person they like gets in trouble we will hear "pussification of America! !"

If we would all be adults and be able to handle other peoples views then we wouldn't have to worry about people we like saying something we agree with but another group doesn't.
we are just turning into baby bland country. Pc run amuck and all it takes is for us not to pick and choose when we are fine with people gettinf in trouble based on if we like them. If you dont like them dont watch. its very easy. But we want big brother to take care of mean person.
People use to be paranoid about the govt spying on us and big brother is watching. They dont have to, we rat on each other the minute we dont agree with them.

frick I wish people could see a big picture and just know that being fine with someone gettinf in trouble for an opinion is eventually going to make something you like go away because your opinion is gonna pissed off another group of babies who can't handle other views.
this country we are told celebrate diversity its what makes america great, but as soon as someone actually is different it gets pointed out and is disciplined until its as vanilla as the rest of the group.

Yuck

He just signed on with Sirius-XM's Mad Dog sports for his own radio show, btw.

A). The guy should be reprimanded for what he said

B). What slot is he going into on MDR??? I listen daily: Evan and Phillips in the morning??? Doubt it because they tend to be very entertaining. 0900..Dan Patrick, no way in this slot..1200 Adam Schein, possibly the best show on radio...so no way here either; 1500-1800 is Mad Dog. So where's he going??? After hours??? I seriously hope they don't eff with the schedule

Complete bullshite for a variety of reasons

No reason not to take him at his word. He prefaced it a million times "not acceptable" and so forth. It sounded to me like he wanted to acknowledge that sometimes crazy women can beat on a man and everyone has a threshold. Awkward delivery because he tried to make it PC and it came off poorly. He's an inarticulate dumb dumb...

he should've just said "violence is unacceptable no matter what gender you are." - bam, done.

Even if he did intend it the way it's being perceived...so what? It's his opinion and he's encouraged to give them especially the provocative ones (SWIDT) viewers aren't going to stop watching ESPN over this. What a chickenshit move by ESPN. If you're going to punish him at least be fricking consistent (rob Parker, rush limbaugh?) fire his arse (stupid) or just move on. All of the subtle racial tension and sexism that ESPN makes so much money from (and it's no accident)...and then they punish their employee for doing exactly what they asked him to do

He gave a sincere apology on air (which was also bullshite) so what more can he do? They didn't give two shits when he clearly said the "no word" on air

A new low in PC America

Why is this being played on news radio BTW
