Yeah, they are not talking OSU football at all on the Fan. Anyone who listens to it today and does not well up either has no feelings or tear ducts. Hooley can bearly speak...can tell he's fighting back tears.

I'm hoping we can talk some OSU football and return to normalcy a little bit. I can't listen to the fan for more than 5 minutes without feeling a lump in my throat and having to change the channel.

terrible news but what an example of dying well.

I would want to die myself if I lost my wife. she's everything to me.

agreed. what a great example for his kids for them to see how much he loved their mother. That's a great example to husbands.

I believe Chris works for ABC, so I think that would be nice.

There will be something. Spielman is employeed by ESPN which of course is owned by ABC.

Even if he wasn't, I'm sure there would be some kind of special.

When I was a kid, Chris Spielman was my favorite football player. Back when I was a huge Buckeye fan, this was the player I looked up to. The guy left it all on the field every game. I remember always checking the newspaper to see how he did whenever he was with the Lions. In fact, my favorite part of Thanksgiving was getting to watch him play every year.

When he retired to take care of his wife, he moved from my favorite football player to one of my personal heroes.

My thoughts are with him and his family.
